Is JustCo Worth the Money? — An SME User's Perspective
As an SME owner using JustCo, I wanted to share some honest thoughts on whether it is really worth the money — especially for small businesses and freelancers. The pricing for a permanent seat is around SGD 390 per month. Here is a balanced look at the pros, cons, and who it is best suited for.
As an SME owner, I have been using JustCo and wanted to share some honest thoughts on whether it is really worth the money — especially for small businesses and freelancers. The pricing for a permanent seat is about SGD 390 per month for one user. On paper, it may sound expensive, but there are both good and bad points depending on how you use the space.
What I Like About JustCo
1. You Can Bring Guests
One useful benefit is that you can invite up to 2 guests per visit for meetings or discussions. This is helpful for SMEs that occasionally need to meet clients, partners, or candidates without renting a separate meeting room.
2. Good Environment and Facilities
The overall environment is modern and comfortable, with a professional look that is useful when meeting clients.
- Nice furniture and office setup
- Free coffee
- Clean onsite toilets
- Reception staff available on weekdays

3. Resting Rooms at the JustCo@CenterPoint Branch
The JustCo@CenterPoint branch has 2 resting rooms with reclined lounge chairs. The room is quiet, dark, and cold — quite comfortable if you need a short break or power nap during a long workday.

The Downsides
1. Expensive If You Do Not Use It Daily
The biggest issue is value for money. At around SGD 390 monthly for only 1 user, it makes sense only if you use it almost every day like a full-time office from 9am to 6pm. If you mainly need occasional meetings, temporary workspace, or flexible office usage, then it starts to feel quite pricey.
2. Lack of Power Sockets
One surprising issue is the lack of accessible power plugs in some common seating areas. Some sofa areas and lounge tables do not have nearby power outlets, which can be frustrating if you work long hours on a laptop. Bringing a large power bank is honestly a good idea.
3. Noise Levels Can Be Inconsistent
Although coworking spaces are meant to be collaborative, some areas can become noisy because many people take phone calls loudly or have long discussions in open spaces. It may not be ideal if you need quiet focus work.
4. The 'Permanent Residents' Vibe
You also notice some people practically living there daily — freelancers or individuals bringing full meals and spending the entire day there every day. It creates a slightly unusual atmosphere at times.
5. Inconsistent Sales Knowledge
The sales team sometimes cannot clearly explain detailed SOPs or pricing policies — such as exact visitor rules, guest limits, branch-specific practices, or operational details. This can be frustrating when trying to evaluate the package properly before signing.
Final Thoughts
Overall, JustCo is good if you truly need a daily office environment and plan to work there consistently like a normal office setup.
Good for Daily Users
- A professional environment
- Decent facilities and free coffee
- Networking opportunities
- Flexibility compared to traditional office rental
However, if you only need occasional meetings, hybrid working space, or part-time office usage, the monthly cost may not feel worth it.
For SMEs, the value really depends on usage frequency. Daily users will probably find it reasonable. Occasional users may feel they are overpaying.
